The Directory module is divided into four sub-directories: Users, Staff, Tenants, Vendors, and Tags. Each user needs a profile in the system in order to access the app or dashboard, and these sub-directories are where you can manage profiles for all users, building staff, tenants, and vendors at your building. The Tags sub-page is where you can manage User Tags

Who Can Manage The Directory?

Only Building Admins and Building Managers can add and manage users in the Directory. 

Users and Staff Table Overview

The Users and Staff sub-directories include a table view where the following actions can be performed:

Manage Profiles

  • +New: Add a User or Staff Member 
  • Upload: Bulk Upload Users or Staff Members
  • Edit (pencil icon): Edit a profile, change a user role, switch the user's company, add a User Tag, etc. 
  • Delete (trash icon): Delete a profile 
  • Invite Users (envelope icon): Once a user's profile is added, you can invite them to download the mobile app via email. 
  • View Pass (badge icon): Click to view the user's pass (not applicable in all buildings)

Administrative Actions:

  • Edit Columns: Edit and/or reorder columns
  • Filter and Search: Filter or search by any field in the profile
  • Download: Download a .csv of the table. If you have edited or rearranged the columns, the download will respect those edits. 

Bulk Actions
Select multiple profiles and the Action button in the upper left will illuminate. From here, you can perform several actions to multiple profiles at once. 

 

Tenant Table Overview

The Tenant sub-directory includes a table view where the following actions can be performed:

Manage Tenants

Administrative Actions:

  • Edit Columns: Edit and/or reorder columns
  • Filter and Search: Filter or search by any field in the profile
  • Download: Download a .csv of the table. If you have edited or rearranged the columns, the download will respect those edits. 

 

Vendor Table Overview

The Vendor sub-directory includes a table view where the following actions can be performed:

Manage Profiles

  • +New: Add a Vendor User
  • Upload: Bulk Upload Vendor Users
  • Edit (pencil icon): Edit a profile, change a user role, switch the user's company, add a User Tag, etc. 
  • Delete (trash icon): Delete a profile 

Administrative Actions:

  • Edit Columns: Edit and/or reorder columns
  • Filter and Search: Filter or search by any field in the profile
  • Download: Download a .csv of the table. If you have edited or rearranged the columns, the download will respect those edits. 

Bulk Actions
Select multiple vendor profiles and the Action button in the upper left will illuminate. From here, you can delete vendors in bulk, if needed.
