The Directory module is divided into four sub-directories: Users, Staff, Tenants, Vendors, and Tags. Each user needs a profile in the system in order to access the app or dashboard, and these sub-directories are where you can manage profiles for all users, building staff, tenants, and vendors at your building. The Tags sub-page is where you can manage User Tags.

Who Can Manage The Directory?
Only Building Admins and Building Managers can add and manage users in the Directory.
Users and Staff Table Overview
The Users and Staff sub-directories include a table view where the following actions can be performed:
Manage Profiles
- +New: Add a User or Staff Member
- Upload: Bulk Upload Users or Staff Members
- Edit (pencil icon): Edit a profile, change a user role, switch the user's company, add a User Tag, etc.
- Invite Users (envelope icon): Once a user's profile is added, you can invite them to download the mobile app via email.
- View Pass (badge icon): Click to view the user's pass (not applicable in all buildings)
Administrative Actions:
- Edit Columns: Edit and/or reorder columns
- Filter and Search: Filter or search by any field in the profile
- Download: Download a .csv of the table. If you have edited or rearranged the columns, the download will respect those edits.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple profiles and the Action button in the upper left will illuminate. From here, you can perform several actions to multiple profiles at once.

Tenant Table Overview
The Tenant sub-directory includes a table view where the following actions can be performed:
Manage Tenants
- +New: Add a Tenant

Bulk Actions
Select multiple vendor profiles and the Action button in the upper left will illuminate. From here, you can delete vendors in bulk, if needed.
Deleting and Suspending Users
By default, individual users cannot be deleted from the User Directory because permanent deletion is a powerful, irreversible action. For users who are no longer at your building, we recommend suspending their accounts instead. Suspending immediately removes access: the user is logged out and can no longer use the building app or the dashboard, while their account and historical information remain preserved.
How to Suspend an Individual User
- Navigate to your directory and find the user.
- Click on the edit icon next to their profile.
- Scroll down to Account Status and select Suspended.
How to Suspend Users in Bulk
- Navigate to your directory.
- Filter or search for the user(s) you'd like to suspend.
- Click Bulk Actions and Set Account Status
- Select Suspend from the dropdown.
