Create an Amenity Space Category
The Cove Reservations module allows you to easily manage all of your amenity spaces. Fully customize each space and configure the key details, , workflows associated with the space, booking constraints, billing, and visibility.
Amenities are organized into categories and individual amenities within those categories. Create a category and then create an amenity.

Create a reservable amenity space category:
- Navigate to the Reservations module.
- Click on Reservation Setup.
- Click on Amenity Setup.
- Click on New Category.
- Fill out the form
- Click Save.
Reservation Type

Slot: For shared spaces or resources that allow multiple reservations at the same time (e.g.- Allowing 6 people in the gym each hour).

Standard: For private spaces or resources that only allow 1 reservation at a time (e.g.- Meeting Rooms)
- One-of-Many (e.g.- A number of phone booths)
Minimum and Maximum Booking in Advance
- (optional) Max Time Book in Advance: User cannot book more than this determined time in advance. Available in days, weeks, months, and years, and if None is selected there will be no limit.
- (optional) Min Time Book In Advance: User must book in at least the determined time in advance. Available in days, weeks, months, and years, and if None is selected there will be no limit.
Visibility Settings
Tenant Visibility
- Shown To Everyone (Default)
- No One (Hidden)
- Only Specific Tenants
- When this is selected, a tenant dropdown menu will appear. Select as many tenants as needed.
User Tag Visibility
- Visible To All Users (Default)
- Only Visible To Specified User Tags
- When this is selected, a user tag dropdown menu will appear. Select as many user tags as needed.
Once your amenity category is created, you can create reservable amenity spaces.
