Available Mid-November

The Property Assistant is coming to the Cove mobile app. Tenants will get the same AI-powered experience available on the web Dashboard: submit Work Orders and ask questions about the building in plain language, right from their phone.

What Tenants Can Do on Mobile

  • Submit Work Orders through chat: Describe an issue in your own words (for example, "The AC is blowing warm air in suite 300"). The Assistant asks for any missing details and drafts a Work Order for you to review before you submit.
  • Attach photos from your phone: Upload photos of the issue (JPG, PNG, or HEIC) so maintenance staff can see what's wrong.
  • Ask building questions: Get instant answers from your building's information in Cove, such as highlights, events, amenities, announcements, hours, holiday closures, and tenant handbooks, with links back to the source.
  • Reach your property team: If the Assistant can't answer, or you ask for a person, it can email your property team a transcript and summary once you confirm.

The Assistant only shows information and actions your account has access to, such as reservations or COI management.

Where to Find It

Once available, open the Cove mobile app and do one of the following:

  • Tap the Property Assistant card on the home screen.
  • Select Property Assistant from the quick-action menu.

Note: Your building team controls whether the Property Assistant is available to tenants. If you don't see it, contact your property team.

For Building Teams

Mobile uses the same Property Assistant Settings as the web Dashboard, so there's nothing new to configure. Work Orders submitted from the mobile app are created and routed the same way as any other Work Order.

The Property Assistant requires coordination with Cove. If it isn't turned on for your property yet, contact your Customer Success Manager or techsupport@cove.is.
