There are two account statuses in Cove: Active and Suspended.
Active: Users are active in the system and are able to perform all actions they are allowed.
Suspended: Users are restricted from logging into or accessing the app or dashboard.
How to Suspend or Suspend a User
Property Team members with a Building Admin or Building Manager User Role can unsuspend a user in their user profile.
- Navigate to the Directory module of the dashboard, and click on the Users sub-page.
- Search for the user's profile in the directory.
- Click the Edit icon next to their profile.
- Scroll down to the Account Status section of their profile.
- Select the appropriate status from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- If a user is suspended while they are logged into the app or dashboard, they will be immediately logged out and will not be able to log in until unsuspended.
- Once a user is unsuspended, they will immediately be able to log into the app or dashboard (depending on their User Role).
Pro-Tip
We recommend that your team use the Suspend action, rather than deleting a user's profile. This will allow you to keep a record of the profiles that have been created in the system.
