Setting Up Displays Using Airtame

Cove displays can be set up either with or without a digital signage provider.
If you are managing only one or two displays, you can connect directly using a Smart TV’s web browser.

However, for buildings or campuses with multiple displays, we recommend using a digital signage provider such as Airtame. This allows you to manage all screens remotely without needing physical access to each device.

If you are using Airtame 2 to connect and manage your displays, follow the steps below.

🧰 Installation

  1. Create an Airtame account and leave it open in your browser (this is the Airtame Cloud).

  2. Download the Airtame app — no need to log in.

  3. Install the Airtame device following the instructions in the box or on the Airtame website.

    • Once connected, your TV will display a setup screen showing your unique Airtame device number.

🔌 Connect to the Airtame

  1. Connect to the Airtame setup network.

    • When connected, the device will appear in the Airtame app.

  2. If using Wi-Fi, make sure your computer is on the same network as the Airtame device 

  3. If using Ethernet, the device should appear automatically in the app.Installation

🌐 Connect the Airtame to Wi-Fi

  1. In the Airtame app, click Set Up next to your device.

  2. Name the device using a clear format such as BuildingName - Location (example: Building 1 - Lobby).

  3. Skip setting a password.

  4. Select the correct Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

    • If using Ethernet, this step happens automatically.
       

  5. Wait for confirmation on your Airtame device.

  6. Reconnect your computer to your regular Wi-Fi network.

Your Airtame device is now online and ready to be added to the Airtame Cloud for remote management.

☁️ Add Your Device to Airtame Cloud

  1. In Airtame Cloud, click + Add Airtame in the top right corner.

  2. Copy the Cloud Token shown in the Airtame Cloud interface.

  3. Open the Airtame app again and paste the Cloud Token into the device field.
     

  4. Click Apply Changes to save.

  5. Confirm that your device now appears in the Airtame Cloud Dashboard.

🎉 You've successfully set up your Airtame!
Your Airtame device is now configured and connected.
Next, create your display in the Cove Dashboard to begin managing your content.
