Visitor Registration

Within the cove platform, visitors can be registered through the app or through the admin dashboard building staff only). In this article we will explore:

  • registering a one-time visitor in the app {jump to link}
  • registering a one-time or multi-day visitor in the dashboard {jump to link}
  • editing visitor directions for your organization {jump to link}

Register a One-Time Visitor in The App

  1. Click on the hamburger bars (three horizontal lines) in the top left of the home screen.
  2. Click Visitors
  3. Click + Add a Visitor
  4. Fill out your visitor’s information.
  5. Click Complete Visitor Registration

Register a One-Time or Multi-Day Visitor in The Admin Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Visitors section of the dashboard, and click on +Add a Visitor.
  2. Fill out your visitor's information. If you are registering a visitor for someone else, choose their name as the host.
  3. Choose Single Visit or Multiple Dates.
    • Single visit: select a single date and estimated arrival time
    • Multiple dates: select each individual date and time. Choose +Add Another Date for each additional date and time that needs to be added.

If you need to register a visitor for more than 10 days, please use the bulk upload feature.

  1. Reason for Visit and Organization Name are both optional.
  2. Select Complete Visitor Registration.

Editing Visitor Directions for Your Organization

  1. Navigate to the Directory section of the dashboard, then click on Tenants.
  2. Click on the pen to edit the tenant visitor directions.

  3. Scroll down to the Visitor Management Settings section and your customized guest visit email instructions.
