Error: "The User Could Not Be Added"

Issue

When a user attempts to add a new user to Cove, they may encounter an error that prevents the user from being created. This stems from a bug we are resolving soon.

Resolution Steps

In the meantime, while we resolve this bug, please:

  1. Confirm that the user is not suspended on your site. Filter the User Directory to Status -> Suspended, and search for the user by email.
  2. If you do not see them suspended, they are associated with another site, with a different role.
  3. Try adjusting the user role to see if you can add user. 
  4. If unable, please submit a support ticket and include the following information:
  • Full name of the user to be added
  • Email address of the user
  • Role to be assigned (e.g., Tenant Admin, Tenant User, etc)
  • Property Site Name
  • Tenant Associated
  • Any tags to add to the user
