Packages

The Packages module gives property teams a centralized place to log, track, and manage incoming deliveries. From the dashboard, teams can check packages in as they arrive and check them out when tenants pick them up, keeping a clear, timestamped record of every package at the property. Each package record includes the recipient, tenant, carrier, type, and current status. Status reflects whether a package is awaiting pickup (Checked In) or has been collected (Picked Up).

Package Handling is accessible to users with the Security Manager, Building Manager, or Building Admin role.

Package Check-In

When a delivery arrives, use Check In Package to log it.

1. Select + Check In Package in the upper right corner of the Package Handling page.
2. Complete the following fields:
   • Recipient (required) — select the individual the package is addressed to
   • Barcode (required) — scan the barcode using a connected scanner, or enter any package identifier manually
   • Carrier (required) — select the delivery carrier
   • Type (required) — select the package type
   • Notes (optional) — add any relevant details about the package
3. Select Check In.

Package Check-Out

When a tenant picks up their package, use Check Out Package to update the record.

1. Select Check Out Package in the upper right corner of the Package Handling page, or use the action button on an individual package record.
2. Select the Package from the dropdown, or scan the barcode with a connected scanner. The dropdown displays each package by recipient name, carrier, and barcode for easy identification.
3. Review the package details in the confirmation panel, then select Check Out.

If your property has signature collection enabled, you will be prompted to collect the recipient's signature before completing the checkout.

The package status will update to Picked Up, and the Checked Out timestamp will be recorded.

Notifications

When a package is checked in, the recipient is automatically notified that their package has arrived. Notifications are sent by email, and by SMS if a phone number is associated with their profile. The notification includes the property name so the recipient knows where to pick up their delivery.
