For property teams and building engineers managing multiple sites within a network, the network-level work order view brings all open work across your portfolio into a single place on the dashboard. Rather than navigating site by site, you can view, filter, manage, and create work orders from a centralized view tied to your network. The Work Orders module at the network level includes the same pages you are used to at the site level, organized to reflect activity across all sites in your network.
To access the network-level work order view, select your network from the site selector in the dashboard navigation. Work Orders will appear in the left menu.
Module Pages
The following pages are available within Work Orders at the network level:
- Tenant Updates: work orders with unread tenant activity across all sites. A red badge indicates the count of unread updates.
- New In My Groups: work orders recently assigned to your groups across all sites
- Assigned to Me: work orders assigned directly to you across all sites
- Open Work Orders: all open work orders across all sites
- Upcoming Work Orders: scheduled work orders across all sites. This page is only visible on networks where scheduled work orders have been configured.
- All Work Orders: all work orders regardless of status across all sites
Each work order in the list displays the site name alongside the standard work order details so you can quickly identify which property each item belongs to.
Creating a Work Order
You can create a new work order directly from the network-level view. When you click New Work Order, you will first be prompted to select the site the work order belongs to. Once a site is selected, the form functions identically to creating a work order at the site level, with all dropdowns and fields pulling from that site's data only.
Filtering
All standard filtering tools are available at the network level, including filtering by status, assignee, issue type, and more. Filtering at the network level returns results across all sites in your network.
Batch Actions
You can take the following batch actions on work orders at the network level:
- Edit Assignment: reassign multiple work orders at once. When batch assigning, the assignee list is limited to users who have access to all of the sites represented in your selection.
- Edit Status: update the status of multiple work orders at once
To use a batch action, select one or more work orders using the checkboxes in the table, then choose an action from the batch actions menu.
Work Order Setup
Building Admins can access Work Order Setup at the network level to configure a public work order submission page. This allows work orders to be submitted from outside Cove without requiring a user account, and is configured per network. All other work order setup is managed at the individual site level.
