Assign and Route Work to Vendors

Third-party vendors can be added to your dashboard so that they can be registered as visitors and complete Work Orders via the app or dashboard. Assigning and routing work to vendors is the third step in this process. 

Now that you have created a Vendor and added Vendor Users, you can now assign and/ or route those Work Orders to Vendors and Vendor Users.


Assigning and/or route Work Orders to Vendors and Vendor Users

  1. Navigate to the Work Order module, click on Work Order Setup, and then click on Routing & Assignments.
  2. Click the Edit icon next to a Work Order category or Issue Type. 
  3. Scroll down to configure the Routing and Assignments. Select Vendor Users from the Default Assignment dropdown and/or select the Vendor Work Group from the Work Groups dropdown.
