As part of the app login process and dashboard login process, you will receive a 6 digit login code. This code will appear in your inbox within a few minutes, but if you do not receive it there might be a few reasons:
| Possible Reason | Solution |
| Check Spam/Junk Folders | Emails containing access codes or reset links may end up in spam or junk folders. Check these folders if the code does not arrive in your inbox. |
| Your company might be blocking emails from Cove. | Company filters and firewall rules can block notification emails. Ask IT to whitelist @cove.is sender addresses/domains and the email service used by your building. |
| Account Suppression | Emails may be suppressed in the system, preventing users from receiving codes. Contact support to check and remove any email suppressions. |

If you are a regular user attempting to use your building's web dashboard, you might need to log in first to the app.

All regular users must first download and log into their building app to complete their account registration. Only after this step will they be able to access the web dashboard (if applicable). This depends if the site has set up web dashboard access for regular users. |
| Your email might not match your email in the system. | Your profile is attached to your email address. Please reach out to the property team at your building or your tenant's point of contact to check that the email you are using is accurate to what is in Cove. |
| You might not yet have an account. | In order to log into the app or dashboard, you might need to be added first depending on your sites setup. Please reach out to the property team at your building or your tenant's point of contact to add you to the system with the correct role. |
| Technical Support. | If none of these steps resolve the issue, contact technical support through the provided email to investigate further and ensure the code is sent properly from the backend. When contacting Cove Support, include your email address, building name, and whether you’re using mobile or web. |
