Highlights are announcements published to your displays to share important updates or messages with users. Display Highlights can include an image, title, and description—or simply an image with embedded text. Displays will automatically rotate through all published highlights.
Use the Highlights section in the Engage module to create, edit, and manage your content.
On the Highlights page, you will see all current and past highlights- you can easily edit, duplicate or delete highlights using the icons under the Action column. Click on one of the three buttons at the top to create a highlight.
Accessing and Navigating Highlights
Navigate to the Engage module.
Click Highlights to view all current and past highlights.

From this page, you can:
Edit, duplicate, or delete existing highlights using the icons under the Action column.
Filter to search for highlights.
Download a
.csvfile of highlight overviews.
At the top of the page, you’ll find three options for creating new content:
+ New Highlight Section – Create a new section for your app homepage.
+ New Mobile Highlight – Create a new highlight for the mobile app.
+ New Display Highlight – Create a new highlight for digital displays.
Creating a Display Highlight
- Click on +New Display Highlight.
- Fill out the categories to create your highlight:

Select TV Displays and search for the display(s) where you want the highlight to appear.-
Main Content
Upload your Image.For the new kiosk.cove.is display app, use image dimensions 1344w x 1080h.
For the legacy display app, use 1120w x 1080h.

Image Display Mode
Choose how your image fits the screen:Stretch – Fills the entire display area.
Contain – Maintains image proportions within the display area.

Image as Highlight Options
Use Image as Entire Highlight – The image itself serves as the full highlight, with no text overlay.
Add Text Over Image – Adds text fields (title, subheader, description) on top of the image.
Highlight Header / Title
Enter a Title (up to 32 characters). The title appears only if Add Text Over Image is selected.Sub-Header
Add an optional Subheader (up to 50 characters) to provide supporting information.Description / Message
Write a brief message or body text (up to 1000 characters).-
Other Details
Show Until – Choose an end date for when the highlight should stop displaying, or select Show Always to display indefinitely.

Visibility – Set the highlight’s current status:
Published – Visible on displays.
Draft – Saved but not yet visible.
Hidden – Temporarily disabled.
Click Save to publish or save your draft.
- Click Save.
Managing Display Highlights
From the Highlights table, you can quickly view and manage all your content.
Each row includes:
Title and Subtitle
Highlight Section
Status (Published, Draft, or Hidden)
Show Until date
Date Created
Use the Action icons to:
Edit a highlight
Duplicate an existing highlight
Delete a highlight
