Work Order Estimates

Once a tenant submits a work order, building teams can review it and share an estimate of the expected labor and materials costs associated. The tenant can then review and approve or request changes to the estimate, making communication between your building teams and tenants more efficient.

Sharing Work Order Estimates With Tenants

Work Order estimates can be sent to tenants once material and/or labor is added.

  1. Review the materials and labor added to the work order.
  2. Click on the Invoice tab.
  3. Click Send estimate. From here a side menu will open where you can add a note with the estimate.

It is best practice to add a descriptive note here- this text will appear in the email sent to tenants, as well as in the Activities and Updates section of the work order.

  4. Click Save and the estimate will be sent to the tenant.

Once an estimate is sent to a tenant, the status of the estimate will change to proposed.

Tenant View of Estimates

When an estimate is sent to a tenant, they will receive an email and a push note, and from here they can accept or request that changes be made to the estimate.
